Thanks, and new road question

    Thanks for all the info on CA-33 etc. Unfortunately, my plans have
    changed...well, it's not really "unfortunate" as I'll still be riding!
    Here's my new plan:

    Coming north on CA-49 from CA-120, I'm thinking of taking CA-26 at
    Mokelumne Hill and riding those twisties to the junction of CA-88 up
    and over to CA-89 and the Monitor Pass. I've done the 88-89 thing a
    number of times, but never 26. Any advice on this road, and is it worth
    the detour?

    I might give that route (26 from Moke-hill) a try tonight on my way to
    Carson City if I have the time. Otherwise it will be straight over 88 to
    395.
