    Just renewed my policy.
    All four bikes. Total insured value £9000

    Ok I'm over 40 with 9 years PNCB in BT8 but...

    £278 TPFT
    356 FC

    for only £78 more I went with the FC.

    About 4% of the overall insured value. Considering they paid out £5500
    for my Gixxer in 2002 it an utterly brilliant deal IMHO.

    In uk.rec.motorcycles, mr p belched forth and ejected the following:
    They wanted 356 for my Mongdeo after hiking the premium 50 quid because
    they'd got the model wrong. I told them the value of the thing was only
    400 but they were unrepentant.

    I've done a confused.com and the same underwriter comes out at 306 quid
    with all AC's benefits plus windscreen cover.

    Thank goodness my policy doesn't start 'till next month. I think I'll be
    asking for a reduction or I'll be off to Budget.
