  1. In an effort to just inform.....

Here are the 9 constitutional propositions with support and opponent info.
Its located at the House web site.

    http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/hrofr/focus/amend79.pdf

The order of the proposed constitutional amendments as they will appear on
the November 8, 2005 election ballot.

Remember the government is required to explain these constitutional
amendments so you can understand them. If you don't understand them then
follow these simple rules and you'll stay on top.

If you don't know, then just say NO!

Not that "just say NO" is bad advice, or that it relates to
this legislation, but NO doesn't always work.

I've seen local elections where proposal wording appear-
ed purposefully deceitful to cause confusion. I can't raise
any real examples, but I do recall being PO'd at the
    wording.

Using one of the bills internal to the document supplied:

"Marriage between one man and one woman" - Yes/No.
"No marriage between one man and one woman" -
    Yes/No.

Based on the average comprehension level, I think you
can see that the wording must be considered carefully.

    Thanks, for the "heads-up".

Well, I didn't think I was dreamin'. It doesn't take much
in the way of convoluted wording to reverse, mask, or
    alter, the proposal meaning.

So what happened with the Mesquite alcohol proposal?
    Passed/failed/challenged?
