If I was looking to sell this in the next couple of weeks would there
    likely be any interest?

    Dell Dimension 8400

    3GHz P4 with 1GB DDR 400
    128MB PCI-Express ATI Radeon X300SET +TV-Out & DVI
    48X/32X DVD/CDRW Combo Drive
Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional (Dell OEM and unregistered)
On board 5.1 sound and Gigabit ethernet
    8 USB ports
    1.44MB Floppy Drive (How quaint!)
    V.92 Data Fax Modem
Note the lack of hard disks, I'm having them myself.

I was thinking of around £350 including the Dell 1 year warranty. I
thought I'd offer it up here before I broke it up for ebay.
The graphics card would be pretty poor for gaming but, if that's your
thing, it could be replaced by an Nvidia 6800 GTO for a negotiated fee.

Does it come with a race can?

I think you're referring to motorcycle components there, you might want
    to try a relevant group.

:) <--------- for the more literal minded among us.

I don't suppose, by any stroke of luck, that the email said "Sell it to
    Smorgo", did it?

I know, I have no idea why Dell still supply them as standard.
