That "from" should be "for", obviously.

Reminds me of where I used to work in a busy telesales office.

When passing calls across we discovered customers would sometimes be able to
hear what was said between staff due to a fault in the ageing telephone
system. If the customer was being a twat then the telesales droid would say
so to the supervisor so he/she'd be ready for a barrage of abuse.
Naturally, this didn't please some people.

To prevent any further aggravation we used "client" to mean they were a ****
and "customer" to mean they were a normal person.

They still got treated the same either way but if you're a bit flustered and
some arsehole starts hurling abuse at you down a phone line when you're
halfway through saying "hello" it's quite hard to remain professional. Just
a few seconds is all it takes to put on the false smiley voice and faked
    concern.

Any chance of fucking off to a test group then? I know they're hard to
find, so here's a little list of suitable, yet confusingly named groups:

    alt.test
    aol.test
    uk.test

    HTH, HAND.

I wondered if anyone would comment on that.

Actually, I tuned in at ~12-ish yesterday expecting to get "Just a
Minute", but it turned out to be "Quote... Unquote". I was a little
disappointed, but kept listening anyway as it does turn up the odd gem
    from time to time.

Haven't listened to it for ages, but it used to have its moments when
Paul Merton was on it. Round Britain Quiz deserves shooting IMHO.

When did you send it? By special foresight I forgot to pay my bill and I
was *cough* without service over the weekend.

If you sent it to the mztech.fsnet address I'm currently downloading my
spam and will have a poke about.
