test

I've been riding small bikes on and off(!) for 40 years but never had
a full licence. Now I want to run a vintage bike. How do I get a test
using minimal contact with newfangled macinery. Bike is 6HP I think.
Don't bother advising against it, death wish is too advanced already.

go on one of them training courses for a week, do a direct access thing.

 

And ask if they will let you use your own bike.
CBT that isn't a problem for any instructor/examiner I know (all three of
them!)

Explain that it is vintage. The low power output means you can't take the
'full'
test allowing you access to any bike, but if you want to stick with the
vintage
machine that shouldn't be a problem. But ask them.
