Mckinny Polaris dealer had 92.5 KZPS radio guys
out sat. afternoon offering a free t-shirt if you will test-
ride one of those Victory bikes.
well, im a sucker for a free t-shirt, so i bit.
took a "kingpin" i think it was, for a spin.
the guy told me of a route to take, bout 15 mi. i guess.
went about 4 blocks, turned around and brought it back.
too herky-jerky for me. loud clunky sounds while shifting.
    flimsy rear break pedal.

i think ill be a Goldwing guy from now on.

    cool zz top t-shirt , .

There must be something wrong, what folks don't like about the Victory
Bikes, because I hardly ever see any riding around here much.
Don't ever recall seeing very many at popular Bike events around the
    area.
I don't know one single guy that owns one, and I know about 15 riders or
    more around here.
Honda and Yamaha are the most popular around here, oh yeah and those
other bikes, those uhhhhhhh yes Harleys.

We have a Victory dealership here in Arlington and I went and checked
out those bikes also. I agree with you on the loud clunky sounds while
shifting. I also noticed that the welds looked like crap and the
brackets that the pipes were mounted on were real flimsy so they shook
like crazy. The one I looked at even had some rust starting on the
bottom pipe bracket. I asked the salesman about it and he said that was
    just the way they are..OKKKKKK.

  6. yah i have one of those on mine. it's from monika in germany. i also
have the peg lowering kit, but not the floorboards, i like pegs for
    handling technique purposes.
    yah, i'm familiar with it.
of course, you were just starting to look for one <g>.
they were actually pretty popular for a while and were built to get a
piece of the cruisser fad. James Bond rode a 1200C in a recent movie
(wowee zowee). i test rode one and it was nice because it was low
(inseam challenged here) but the RT was a much better performer. i
dunno, maybe you are ready for a new cruiser of some form, change is
good. it's just difficult to find the attributes that make the RT such
a nice piece of machinery in a cruiser form. maybe find a low mileage
1200C, they should be out there without too much trouble.

not a fan of corbin, heard too many wally things about them from too
    many different places.
