    Girder forks

    Velocete in 125 250 350 and 500

A couple of other Euros including Ossa and Bultaco and some I had for a
week or two only that I simply hated Including an 860 Duc but I really
    like the 750

I forgot the lovely little Kawasaki S2 350 (with 'chambers, rearsets,
a solo-seat and a TZ fairing) which should slot in after the H1. It
was the *worst* bike ever for spark-plugs (yes; even worse than the
H1b) and Kawasaki even had the foresight to include a spare-plugs-
    holder under the seat!
I also had a 1980 CB750F2 (the pig) which was the bike I've most hated
(and the bike that gave me my general opinion of Honda).
It would slot in before my first XJ900 (and most-likely contributed to
my general opinion of XJ Yamahas too!)

How could i have forgotten the Infamous MZ? I feel so guilty!

1984 MZ ETZ250. Uncomplaining workhorse sitting on redline for 1000km
days or commuting day in day out, where maintenance meant giving it a
new sparkplug for Christmas and promising it I'd do the points.

I don't have shed room or I'd rescue it from where it now languishes.

Three cheers for a tough reliable bike.

More or less in chronological order, some overlapping in time. The ETZ
and the GT 750 did service in the UK.

I still have the trumpy, the revere, and the bowel (that's what was on
the 3rd party insurance note, anyway :)

GT250 and T500 were Suzis. The T500 was a good bus, bought very second
hand, while the T140V was off the road waiting for parts (during the
Meridan strike/sit-in). The gearbox in the T500 eventually shat itself,
as they did from that era if the oil level wasn't kept high enough.
Handled well enough if the steering damper was screwed down.
