I see on tonight's news that police were considering charging those dickhead
bogans that set off the chlorine/brake-fluid bombs at Woolworths under those
    new "Terrorism" laws.

Gee; would that be those same terrorism laws that Doug and his writers
assured us would NEVER EVER be misused against ordinary Australian
    citizens?!!?
    Naah....

Well, they weren't charged under the terrorism laws, were they?

"Police had earlier indicated the men would be charged under federal
terrorism laws but those charges did not proceed."

No, which makes your post even more pointless. You're upset these laws you
    don't like *weren't* used.
It wasn't misused either, was it?

And they weren't. No need for me to point out what a dill you are, eh
Clem? Not with you always on the job. Keep up the good work.

John Howard assured us he wasn't an egotistical arsehole too ..
    Apparently people believed him too..
Perhaps if there's ever a terrorist attack here we can get Johnny on the
laws then - it's all his fault after all.

We already did that, Gollum. I gave you my definition and you gave me
yours. And then, when it didn't fit your argument, you gave me another one.

My granddad was a boer but not a Boer.
Remember the concentration camps where thousands of women and children were
    starved to death.
    Remember the burnt out farms.

No of course not you simpleton; I would've PREFERRED they be used!!
It's only by testing all this stupidity in an actual court-of-law that it
    can be legitimised.
Why do you think Habib and Hicks were denied access to a legal system? Was
it because their imprisoners were scared that they may be found TOO
    guilty?!!?
If you use the laws to threaten them (and blacken their characters in the
media) but then don't give the victyims the chance to defend themselves
against the allegations it's misuse; clear and simple.
Or don't you believe in all that inconvenient Westminster stuff?

Heh heh; they weren't APPLIED. They were certainly USED though (and thus
    MISused) Doug.

[shrug] Not that you'd ever have the spine to care about fair-treatment for
    others .....

Calm down. The terrorism laws weren't used against these clowns, so stop
getting your panties in a twist.
LIke any other laws currently used to charge people.
Yeah, silly me, not getting outraged about something that didn't happen.

Oh, the horror: police considered using a law to charge someone...kinda like
    they do all the time.

    Runs for the hills folks.........

Kinda missed the whole point about the promise that the laws would never be
used/misused on ordinary citizens didn't you Tex?
