Terminally stupid bidders

    spring morning, only these ones are more like Vesuvius.

    Yeah, well, I was going to bid on this myself until, after enquiry, I
    found out that it was a cheap pattern item retailing at ukp79.

    Now the bidding's up to ukp110! OK, none of my biz, and all, but I
    emailed the bidder and pointed him at Dave Silver's website where the
    seat is listed at 79 quid.

    Got a snotty email back[1], with links to Silver's prices, telling me
    that it was listed at ukp129 and I must be looking at the wrong part.
    That is, azzitappens, the price of a *genuine* seat. If you click on
    the pattern parts links, it's clearly listed at ukp79.

    So, I repeat my original assertion - he's terminally dim. This, as you
    say, is how one learns.
