I had my 6 front teeth at the top crowned about 2 months ago
(gold/ceramic crowns - precious metal core with ceramic outer). Once
they settled down they were much less hassle than the originals (ie -
they don't crumble at the slightest excuse and look one hell of a lot
better).

This is me now actually.

Not too bad until I go to bed, then it gets 20 x worse. Why?

Didn't even try to sleep.

I've found out that if I get half a mouthful of cold water and hold it
over the sore teeth it stops them going beserk.

The anti-biotics don't seem to be doing much but I've only been on them
for less than a day.
