Teenager's First Fifty insurance

    His sixteenth birthday is some months off yet, but a TPO quote from
    Aunty Carole for Number One Son on his DT50MX was only ukp380.

    FC was ukp600 - not really worth it IMHO.

    No quotes for TPF&T, so I guess TPO and buy an FOAD chain and tell him
    to use it or lose it.

    But, to be honest, I expected a damn sight more. How much would a
    seventeen year-old in his/her first car pay for insurance, inside the
    M25? Any ideas?
