So the great traitor is on his way out.
It's probably a bit late for a public hanging.

He was a nice chap, apart from saying that "bikers are scum",
giving away our fishing rights to Spain, and lying about the
    Common Market.

Didn't stop cromwell from being dug up to be hanged.
I am eagerly waiting some journalist to dig up far more interesting
    detail than that.

Like the faked fellatio photographs? They must have been fake,
who would ever believe it about Ted and a woman?

Well, whatever but he was probably the last one-nation Tory ever likely
to hold the office of PM. A comparison of his position on the politcal
compass and Tony Blair's would be interesting.

I'd prefer it if no one 'dug up' anything on anyone once they're dead.
I don't really see the point to be honest, unless the point is to sully
their name when they are unable to defend themselves.

Or, at least so the rumour runs.

If his hobbies were as unsavoury as rumoured I'm a little surprised they
didn't surface during his lifetime. He was hardly anyone's favourite
person in his last few years.

Again, I'm surprised if this is the case merely because I'm sure someone
    would have liked his scalp.
I said "in the last few years". He's not been PM for what, 25 years? I
can believe he could have been protected from allegations during
Thatcher and Major's parliaments for the good of the party but during
    Blair's?

I wouldn't go as far as to say I met him but a couple of years ago at
Clackett Lane services I saw him and his bodyguard heading towards the
gents. I passed him in the concourse as he seemed a bit frail and slow
and went in for a pee. A few seconds later he appeared in the urinal
    next to mine.
I left him still trying to pee and on my way out noticed the bodyguard
at the entrance of the toilets observing everything in a US secret
service armed and dangerous sort of way.

Those would be yachting and thatcher baiting then?

I can't think of anything I really disliked about the man.He was long
gone by the time I left school and apart from putting us into the EEC
and making the miners think they were stronger than they actually were
he did **** all of note.

  17. So unsavory that none of his large number of political enemies chose to
    reveal them.

So unsavory that no Journo chose to write a book and cash in.

So unsavory, in fact, that he only told Bear.

I think that he's confused him with Samuel Heath, purveyor of some
shockingly 'pornographic' brass bedsteads and bathroom fittings.
