After doing a search on ebay for an MP3 player for my wife, how do I rid the
search box of coming up with "MP3 players" every time I or my wife enters the
letter "M" in the search box. It's meant to be a present for her, and don't wish
her to know that I have ordered one.
I have cleaned out the cache and history selections, but still the MP3 player
    comes up every time.
    TIA
    Matt

If you are using google then enter the letter m and a drop down box will
appear with all previous search terms beginning with m - highlight mp3
player and hit the delete key and it will be gone. If you have used the
google toolbar for the search then click on the little arrow icon just after
the word google and a drop down menu appears - then click on Clear Search

In IE, if you start typing and want to get rid of a particular entry in
the forms popup - just hover the mouse over it and press the delete key
(not backspace) - that will delete single items. Ideal for getting rid of
porn searches without arounsing suspicion. :)
