  1. iPod. Slim, sleek and shiny. Fits about 300 CDs worth of music on it
at 192 bits. Or there's a bigger version, should you happen to have
600 or so CDs lying around wasting space.

Ok, so it's white and therefore looks a bit gay but...

  3. Hhm, shiny chrome and gay plastic bits - I can see how that would
appeal to a scooter fan ;o)

I've emailed my colleague to see where/when/how he got his. will get
    back to you.

I keep mine in a black case.
I have the 5 Gig version. It is very nice and easy to manage with iTunes
(I don't know what they do for windoz). 684 songs (3.12 Gig) in my
    library and growing.

  7. Apparently, he got his direct from the Apple web site... they've
recently brough out a new range (increased the storage a little) so
few retailers seem to have them yet.

    HTH. am v jealous.

The new one looks like its more convienient to work with. The 20 Gig is
going to hold a *lot* of music. I also use mine to backup several files
    off the iMac.

  14. John Lewis stock them, only they've run out of the 20gig one. They do
have a 40 gig one though, for another ton.

  15. at the last count I had over 1,800 CDs and they *are* causing a serious
    storage problem.
so save up the cash and buy one? What's the problem.

I've got 33 Gigs of Mp3s sat on my hard disk. It's easily done. Mate of mine
in London uses his as a test boot disk when doing diagnostics.
