Especially when Baby Grainger arrives and starts teething on the
    indicators...

BTW how's the preparation going for the new arrival? Need any stuff? I've
got moses basket, travel cot, prams and loads of stuff if you want it? (no
need to keep them anymore as I got done same time as having the last one)
Either email me or Mups if you want any of it.
    Cheers

  4. Olympus Camedia C50 Zoom. I got it because you can manually set the
aperture etc but the interface is so cumbersome as to useless in my
view. I hate the way cameras keep shrinking to the point where someone -
like me - with large fingers cannot use the bloody thing properly.

Sigh - I shall have to wait for digital SLR to become affordable or for
the prices and features to stabilise so that whatever I buy is not out
    of date within a month.

Bloody hell woman never explain, they can smell wavering and they'll
be in for the kill. Though the blush was a nice touch, lulls them into
    a false sense of security.
Separated at birth by a week :) Did you have a good one?

    Thank you
Not bad thanks. Shame as the years pass by gravity takes its toll ;o) Hey,
any chance you could email me your number? It would be good to be able to
have a natter without the audience.

    Cheers

  10. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Steph"
Ah, boo! Save the juicy bits.

Both of you look perfectly fine, I'd be happy to do a more in depth
    study if required. <g>

Now, whilst I remember.. Steph, what was that you mentioned about
    decorating?

Blaney is right. Digital photography is still in its infancy and technical
advances in CMOS/CCD sensors are being made continually.
Whenever you buy a digital system there will always be another newer, better
    and potentially cheaper system looming.

Anyone wanting to buy a cheap dSLR body should look to a 2nd-hand Canon D30
    [1] or D60 [2] (both discontinued & replaced by the 10D [3]) - at around
    £500 or £650 respectively.
The recent release of the £799 Canon 300D kit [4] will force used D30 & D60
prices down and stir up some healthy competition from Nikon, Sigma &
    Olympus.

What probably won't change is the exorbitant cost of top-quality lenses
which easily eclipse the cost of digital bodies.

    [1] http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canond30/ (3mp - auto-focus a little
    slow)
    [2] http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneosd60/ (6mp - auto-focus still a
    little slow)
    [3] http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos10d/ (6mp, better auto-focus,
    pixel-count & build than D30/60)
    [4] http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos300d/ (dumbed-down version of
6mp10D - just missing a few advanced features & the magnesium body) - kit
    includes an 18-55mm lens

Trust me I do... I was a size 22+ about 6 months ago (my thyroid packed in)
It was hard work and peoples attitude to you can be very different when your
an overweight female. They seem almost to blame you for being that size,
and any insults hurled showed severe lack of imagination as theyall involved
the word "fat". FFS as if someones size really changes the person inside...
