    What does "debut" mean?

    From Superbikeplanet.com:
Team HRC will debut the new CBR1000RRW at Suzuka (snip) .....

...... "We did a good simulation during the Suzuka 300km race held in May,
in which I won with Izutsu on CBR1000RRW." Ukawa said.....

    Maybe it's the W model they're debuting..

    TB
either that or they're going to install a fender eliminator during the race
    in a dramatic pitstop

Regardless of what it means, every Australian commentator will call Izutsu
"Uzitsu" just to give me the shits.

CBR I'm not sure of but the r designation means either road or racer
VFR is a Vee Four Road Bike
VTR is a Vee Twin Road bike

    BMW is a Tractor
(what the **** am I saying????????)

  10. It means the front door return with 6 factory bikes in the SBK Championship
in 05', which BigARSE tells us does not count....He needs to inform HRC of
    that

We've been through this: Honda's original road bikes were Commuter Bikes.
Then they made faster ones which became Commuter Bike; Race.
Then they were Commuter Bike:Race Really-Racy etc.

VFR were just Very Fast Race.

  16. In CBR it probably means a faired road bike, the suffix is the important bit
    VFR750F is road, VFR750R is race/competition.

    RRW? Really Really Wide?

  20. Used to be BMW stood for Bring Money Wallet (or some such thing), but I
think it's place has just been surpassed by Yammie XV - at least from
the prices I've seen for new starter motors. Eeek!
