true. and graingerlet will climb up furniture faster than you, too.
best to pack up everything and send it all to a charity shop now.

of course, the graingerlet _might_ be slow and placid and just sit
around cooing, but somehow i think not ;)

maybe it depends on whether the female has bred already -
my breasts still react to a small baby's hungry cry.
    hence i avoid holding them.

Snot yer breasts. Instinckt innit. Happens to all wimmin. You have
even got a peak in your hearing ability, so I am told, at the frequency
sprogs cry at. Not as profound at the deafness you suffer at
frequencies blokes apologise at but there nevertheless.

heh,Steph reckons her boobs still go up a couple of cup sizes every time
she holds a new born baby

  10. absolutely. I *hate* kids. full stop. end of. If I never saw a baby
(*especially* a scrawking one) I'd be a happier bunny.

There is one exception to the kids thing though, that's my niece, but
I still didn't want much to do with her until she was a
    walking/talking thing could spoil rotten.

If other people want 'em then fine but you'll find me at the bar with
the blokes. then again, what's new in that?

    Nah, not me mate.

I've bred (25 years ago or so). Mine don't.
Well we are looking after a baby on a regular basis now overnight. I
don't wake up - Owen does, and nudges me till I get up (it was me that
took on this job, so fair's fair). I don't really like babies. I'm
good at them, mind, and our little charge finds my level of nurturing
fine, but I can't wait for him to grow up a bit. But then I'm odd.

Congrats Power Grainger. It was refreshing reading about the exploits of
the learning route and the OT posting because that's how I've been
feeling since I cancelled the CAMRIDER CBT completion due to all the
excuses you cited. So I'm not likely to post cos I've lost the vibe.

Ah well next year for me too and maybe I'll take up that suggestion of
the OTHER Cambridge place for learning - don't need extra distractions
    tho ;-)

    best wishes

  15. So you 'in the family way' too? If so congrats, if not, don't worry
about the CBT: wait until the weather's nice and warm (hah! June in
freezing non-stop downpour, that's when I learnt!) and deffo look up
the guys at Bike Sense, they're stars.

Meanwhile, I think it's going to be like being the designated driver
'in the online pub': sober, not quite bored, but not quite fully
    involved either.
Distractions? Oh they don't bother me...much...ooh, look, a tree!

  17. But I want to be at the bar with the blokes too! Damn, does this mean
I can't have my cake and eat it? (or my pint and drink it?)

Drink as much as you like, you don't seriously believe the propoganda
about drinking and smoking being bad for children?

Depend how the lump reacts to the booze dunnit.

The girls loved it apparently, not a kick or a wriggle from either of
them during or after mum having a beer or three. Number 1 Son however
didn't like it at all and used to create a hell of a fuss.
