Team Grainger in 2004

Team Grainger will be welcoming a new rider on board for the end of
May 2004. We're not sure who yet as we haven't met him/her officially.
We do have a picture, but it's one of those fuzzy preview-type photos
with not much detail. In fact, new team member's first official ride
out was my inaugural BOTAFOT run (Paul, do I get a #105a(pending)?).

In preparation, sadly it means the wee ZXR won't be getting much
action over the winter but then again, neither will Will ;o)

I haven't been on my bike now since October and am really missing it.
Combination of 'what ifs' and shite weather and busy weekends and a
now expanding waistband has meant that it's been
impossible/undesirable. And now I'm even less keen to get on it 'just
in case'. My plan of actually learning how to ride over the winter is
a tad scuppered, but hopefully come next summer, I'll be able to get
out and about loads on the bike, even if it's just for an hour or so
at a time. Either that or we'll have to sell it coz we're skint.

So those of you that don't have the excuse of '(not)riding for two' -
get out there, have fun, and don't even *think* about putting that
bike away. Meanwhile, thanks to all those who've helped me get the
little way that I did down the learning route (*big* thanks to Lozzo
and his socket set too). I hope you don't mind me sticking around with
a bunch of OT/no-such-thing-as-OT-this-is-ukrm/wannabe posts.
