Hello, I have a TDM 850 2001 (6500 miles). It recently developped (bizarre just after going to my dealer) a problem when starting. Basically, the engine starts but the RPM drops to 800 rpm and the engine does an ugly noise almost to the point of stalling. If I open the throttle to 2000 rpm. it will still drop 500 rpm. This goes up and down. It looks like the fuel is not coming but playing with th starter does not change the symptoms. The symptoms disappears as the engine becomes warm. Yesterday night I started the engine for 2 or 3 minutes with the symptoms present. Then stop for 2 or 3 minutes The sympoms was gone when I restarted the engine. Has anybody ever seen this problem?
