A couple of Sundays ago I'd ridden from SJ to SF and was in the downtown
area. I forget exactly where, but there were 3 lanes all turning left.
I was in the 2 lane behind a white taxi, and a mongo RV towing a red car
was in the 3 lane. Just as we got to the bend, the RV cut the corner
into the 2 lane, and even though the taxi braked, the right front of the
taxi clipped the left rear of the red car. Or maybe the left rear of
the red car clipped the taxi. The taxi driver just kind of threw up his
hands and continued behind the RV. I was able to pull alongside and see
the red car now had a white quarter panel, so at the light I got the RV
driver to roll down his window and I told him what happened. I don't
    think he had a clue.

Watching through my mirror, I think the RV decided he really didn't want
to deal with the taxi driver as the RV kept going. Those things are
really long as it is, and when they're towing a car I don't know how the
driver keeps track of where everything is. I learned that I should keep
my bike far away from RVs towing things.

Those people do not have the license that should be required to drive a
big RV rig. To drive a truck you need a Class B commercial license. They
actually test you. But a 40 bus that is called an RV is driven by
someone who took a test in a Chevy Nova 30 years ago. And pulling a
$40,000 4x4 they call a 'dinghy'. Sheesh. Thats pulling a trailer, Class
    A license.

And they change lanes without looking like it's a lame Lexus or
something. That RV driver should have been jailed, drug tested and his
    vehicle confiscated.
