tassie ferry 16 bikes damaged!

anyone know anyone with a bike that went across in last few days?

Readign it in the age! masses of damage to cargo

ROUGH seas have damaged motorbikes and cars on the Spirit of Tasmania.

The vehicles were damaged on the Devonport-Melbourne voyage overnight on
Tuesday.
A source said 16 motorbikes and four cars were damaged in the crossing,
which left Devonport at 9pm on Tuesday and arrived in Melbourne at 7am
yesterday.

 

Would leathers have helped?

 

I think Pat went on the Sydney-Devonport ferry. Got a one word SMS this
morning "rain".
