Well! If you are going to give out clues like that then you might just
as well go round and do the job for them.

You'll be more popular than that bloke who collects and runs jet engines
    in his garden.

Some of the big, commercial tumble-driers are heated by gas, so a spark
    probably wouldn't be necessary.

platypus was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
.... followed by some lead fishing weights or so, then pack the tank in
lots of old blankets and chuck it into a cement mixer for several
hours. Should clean out the tank nicely and coat the tank's inside
with lead at the same time.

Supposed to be a popular tank cleaning method in the Fatherland,
    this.

Speaking of which, would it be possible to drop by in the next four
weeks or so so we could make an attempt to drill out the various bolts

I add a few teaspoons of EDTA [1] to the distilled water bottle I use for
topping up. An apple a day and all that.

[1] I'm pretty sure EDTA is one of the constituents of BattAid.

Fix the tank between the centres [1] or will it hit the bed?

[1] Off centre would be good.

Sounds like my father, that also includes small (.020 cu inch)
unsilenced 2-stroke model plane engines, slightly larger 4-stroke poorly
silenced model plane engines, angle grinders, welders (look great at
    night-darkLIGHT-dark-LIGHT-LIGHT-LIGHT-dark-LIGHT-LIGHT-LIIIIIIIIIGHT-dark)

Shite ole 2-smoke bike motors (see sig), shite old bikes, shite old cars
    etc etc.

Toast of the street our family.

I think that the regs require model planes to be about 82db at 7 meters
or something, this is at full throttle.
Heh.. 2 stroke motors seem to be a favorite hate for some people. I
noticed this when flying my 2 stroke model plane at a local flying
field. A bloke came over from a near by house, and complained, even
though my plane was within the noise limits. He didn't seem to mind the
noisier 4 stroke plane that was flying.

Hmmmm, I'll make sure to take the dB meter next time.
He's jealous of the lurvely castor oil smell off em, that works for me,
and the oozing oil down the side of the plane, mmmmmmmm.

82 db is a maximum, and it has to be measured with the plane held 1m off
the ground and measured from the back, front, left and right from 7
    meters away.

You can loose a flying field if your plane is too loud.

Heh, I like that too.. apart from the plane being slimy and icky. Castor
is kinder to the engines though. :)

The current field is next door to RR's engine testing facility so it's
not too much of a problem.
For hands that fly aeries to feel soft as your face, choose mild yellow
    castor oiiilll.
