A few of the early ones developed a crack behind the steering head.
Triumph recalled the whole batch and revbuilt the bikes on new frames
    under warranty.
TOG'll tell you that 2.2k is the max and I'll challenge him to find one
anywhere near as clean and low mileage as this for that price. If he finds
it, buy it! It's plenty of bike for the money.

Ah well, 2.5 hrs by car, I'm sure someone will volunteer.

  3. In uk.rec.motorcycles, BGN amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
You bought a vehicle with the love of your life, bought a Haynes manual,
ripped it in half and you both kept a bit so when you got together you
could join the halves up and become one once more?
This is the third handle I've had in here, this one was given to me or
rather it was a comment made about me and it stuck.

That's beautiful, Mark. But no, that's not the reason. It's not
    exiting at all.
I haven't found one that I'm happy with as yet.

If I got Bandit I would probably stick a post-it note with ARSE
written on it just in front.

Try Senokot, works for me - Or a good dose of Epsom Salts if you're in a

There's plenty of time. Had you launched yourself at the Lemon desserts
you may have got tagged "The Pudding Pouncer" or something.

People used to shout "Hay! Nick!" to get your attention, only one of
them got kicked in the nads halfway through?

    heh. Nice.

I saw Loz spin the 9R on the sidestand. Not bad for a little fella ;)
[and a very pensive Bub in the background ... !]

Very glad I didn't challenge him to try it with the 12 :0

    Cheers,

    Paul.

The 12 isn't much heavier than the 9R. I used to do the same with the
Blunderbus, and that is quite a bit heavier than the 9R.

  18. I always look pensive, especially when my mind's ear can already hear
the sound of fragile plastic potentially crunching onto the tarmac...
Sadly, it generally just makes me look half-witted.
