I certainly hope that is true Brian. I am sure you made mention of
this effort at some point before I raised it as an issue, although all
I saw was you criticizing the government. I'm also sure those
corporate sponsors would welcome the opportunity for folks to
recognize their efforts and let others who read this group join in.
Certainly I would like to help. Let us know what you have cooking.

Well I will take your response as confirmation you plan on doing
nothing to help your fellow Americans who are suffering though this
tragedy. I will let the question drop now.

First of all you are not qualified to "challenge" anyone about anything...
Secondly.. Your so called "challenge" is as worthless as some of your other
"challenges".. When your "challenges" and threats are responded to, you fold
up like a bag full of wet piss.. All your concerned compassion and interest
in what is happening in Texas is as phoney as those "challenges" of yours..
We've been loading trucks all day.. Need plenty of help.. Get your wormy
and challenging ass on down here to help.. or just shut the **** up..

You're the one fond of telling people when it is

I don't remember Don 'screaming' anything. If that's what you heard
    perhaps you mis-understood.
Now, you're the official spokesman for Texas? Amazing! No wonder you're so
tired and frustrated. I do commend you for any assistance you're giving to
    the refugees though.

    For Don Binns to
If I recall correctly he simply asked the question: "Aside from your
incessant whining about your government, what are you doing to help those in
need right now Bill." Bill declined to answer the question. You, on the
other hand, commenced your normal dancing around the issue. Rather then
telling him what you were doing, or that it was none of his business, you
took it as an opportunity to take his words out of context, and try and make
him out a fool for his suggestions.
Let me see if I've got this right, ok? You, as the 'official spokesman'
for Texas are telling me that everyone down there agrees with you? Hmmmm, I
find that hard to believe. I think you're confussing 'talking loud' with
'talking sence'. If your responce to me is any indication as to how you
respond to everyone you dis-agree with, I'm not surprised you haven't heard
    a word from them, lol.
Sounds like a 'whine' to me, you might want to re-read it.

Let it go Vic. This is not the issue to be arguing about. Bill has let
us know he has been out all day loading trucks. Judging from his daily
posts it must have been at an internet cafe, and Brian is going back
to the mall to do something to help the effort. I am not sure if I
believe them but will give them the benefit of the doubt.

My original point was let's all try and do what we can to help. This
is a tragic event, never equaled on this continent. It will take years
of help and support for these families to rebuild there lives.

All I can do is send money and dry goods but you folks are right
there, almost at ground zero. There are unique opportunities for all
of us to make a difference but especially for the good people of
Texas. Please do what you can.

    I agree Don,

This has gone way past what I'd hoped it would. My apologies to anyone
I've offended in my efforts to make a point. The important thing right now
are all those refugees who need our help. No matter how you decide to do it,
the important thing is that it gets done.

    Best regards,

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.. This one and Don
Binns make a perfect pair.. Binns came looking and this one couldn't pass
the opportunity to blow his puny little wad.. Leave 'em both alone.. Neither
    are worth the effort..

<grin> He knows one thing, for sure... He don't want to visit Irving, Tx.
with his buddies like the Vic character and as a matter of fact he'll tell
any kind of sleazy lie that he can fabricate to avoid even coming to Texas
where he'll be exposed to either of the Walkers..Don Binns is a piece of
    gutless shit..

‘‘Don, I live 400 miles north, of Norleans. In my town, there
are about 1500 refugees. Our Churches are feeding them, letting them use
the Churches factlites, including some entertainment stuff, for the
children. Our city government is ptiching in, Our local Red Cross is
doing it's job, and asking folks for volunteers, to help. I can't go
down south, so I'll lend a hand here.
‘‘some of them said it took 18 hours to drive up here.
Normally, a 6 hour drive. At times they said the traffic moved 5 to 10
    miles an hour’’

My bad for piggy backing on Brian's post, but good on ya BJ. We all
just need to do what we can and there is nothing more valuable than
volunteers willing to give their time and hard work. *applause*
    Main Entry: ref·u·gee
    Pronunciation: "re-fyu-'jE
    Function: noun
    : an individual seeking refuge or asylum;

    Hmmm seems to fit!

Although the term is normally used for those seeking refuge from
tyranny or persecution and it might be too strong for the current
application but evacuees doesn't cut it either. Too sanitized for the
    desperation of their plight.

just has to be a conspiracy against the Walkers. <chuckle>
