Too late, we already have a suzi TS125 :)

Just been for the first 'speed' run on it.. on an old airfield, did about 50
mph 2 up in 5th gear, and thats as far as we got.. going into 6th just keeps
it at that speed, and there's bugger all low end power.. prolly due to that
stupid pipercross type air filter bunged on the carb mouth,

But in the lower gears shes a bit dead, but there's a definate power band..
bod knows where as i pinched the rev counter cable the ohter day in the
steering lock arm thingy.. and it snapped a few minutes later, but the
engine makes lots of noise.. that horrible 2 stroke induction farting roar
type noise.. not nice at all, then there's a kick in the back, and you seem
to fly.. well for a 125 anyway.. then about 50rpm after the power band
starts.. the bloody clutch slips :(

so i'll be replacing the clutch plates soon, and trying again, hopefully
with the air box attatched and hope that's what's killing the low end, but
there may just not be any on this bike, as it's a pre-power valve model.

    Andy Bonwick says...

The RD was quicker, better built, handled, stopped better and was more
reliable when in the hands of a 17 year old numpty. The X5 was always a
bit of an 'also ran' in that class.
