Just got my copy in the post.

Nothing about this being the last one. Shame, this month is rather good.

I still hate the 2004 Blade colours. The R1 looks good though. Decisions.

I reckon the Blade will be a blinding bit of kit but can you get over
the fact it looks a bag of shite in them colours?

R1 certainly seems to be the one most likely to sell best. Don't
discount the Gixxer though. It may not be new for 2004 but that's a
whole lot of Superbike for the money )

  6. Heh. Somebody's been spreading false rumours, then. It's still a shite
    magazine, though.

I thought it was unlikely as they were on the trackday I did last
Saturday doing some new stuff with MacKenzie. They also kept putting
some useless slow fat **** out in our group who acted like a mobile
    chicane.

Has anyone ever been on a trackday where the standard of riding in
each group is assessed for suitability? I actually got a bollocking
once off another rider at Mallory for overtaking him into the Esses.
I truly struggled to stop myself falling off the bike laughing. Well
actually being the half soaked twat I am I apologised!

Not the same thing I think you'll find.

Unless Daz was cutting people up (and not just me) and riding like a
    complete slow twat of course.

My take on this is that if someone is happy to go in the fast group
they should be happy with people passing them in close proximity. IMO
if you pass someone without making them adjust their line it's a clean
pass, if this upsets them they're in the wrong group.

    *cough*

AOL Time Warner no longer exists.

AOL is a (1/5 revenue) division of Time Warner.

    Therefore : AOL.

Exactly - I was in the slow group. Were I to go into the fast group I'd
expect everyone else to ride like nutters and go for the gaps wherever they
    are.

The truly sad thing was that I was faster then the bloke in question except
down the back straight and that's what annoyed me - he kept getting in the
way in a dangerous and very unpredicatable manner.

  17. Perhaps I'm remembering it wrong then. I thought he just overtook you on
    the inside in a non-superbike-school-line.

ISTR being undertaken on the kerb on my first track day at Snetterton. I
can remember being quite fazed by this. Doesn't bother me now though.
