T-Shirt Trick....

  1. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
One of the best slim volumes I ever read was Willie Rushton's
'Superpig', in which he detailed many little hints and tips for the
    discerning slob about town.

I hang my better T-shirts; the older/cheaper ones just lie in a big pile,
or occasionally get stuffed in a drawer.

I think my parents used to have that, must check the shelves next time I'm
    there.

Willy Rushton, loss to the nation he was. I saw him and Barry Cryer do a
show together a few years ago: I wanted to find it all cheesy and crap, but
ended up incontinent with laughter, which I sort of expected. Cryer is
cheesy and old, but he still does the job on R4 regularly. Class comic, as
    was Bill.

  6. It was nothing really. There are more on there for a penny, too. If you
don't want to "go cheap", there's one on there for 64p.

  15. to be fair he buys me flowers every so often, just not often enough
for them not to be a surprise when he does.

he needs to grovel though cos he's off to Germany for ten days on the
13th feb and he'll have a work colleague likely staying with us the
night before so we wont be able to the typical romantic thing that
    weekend.
