It's a bit naff in a "I know a *very* rude word, look at me everyone.
    LOOK AT ME!" sense

  3. No idea. The only time I did a test anything like that was when
I was going to Antarctica. I never found out if I passed or failed, but
you be the judge -- they sent me there!

    <something. It's not important>

Look, Ivan, if I'm going to go to the effort to drop australian
references into threads, the least you can do is reply to them. You
complete missed my "schooner" post elsewhere.

While I agree that one shouldn't let the truth get in the way of a
good gag, I really *don't* like to cause offense. I recall
criticising your highspeed filtering on the way to Dover on the
grounds that "it was a bit rude".

this from the man who overtook a posse of Harley types at 16
squintillion miles an hour on the way to Dover on a bike with no
    numberplate...

Riding between two cars which are doing 80mph just makes one look like
    a ****, imo.

heh. If he really believed I 'cut him up', he doesn't know how to
ride a bike. Probably no one had dared pass him before.

  11. Probably; I recently marked several thousand posts as read in order to
    catch up.
Haven't you got enough cross-posters from aus.motorcycles to keep
    you busy?

  12. Memories of being chased by a gang of HA-types on Honda CB and CL
350s (the rest were on WLAs and not in the hunt) on my Suzi A100 after
I dared to pass the whole queue travelling towards Newcastle in two fell
swoops[1]. Advisory corner speeds were doubled and more as I managed
to keep them at bay until we reached civilisation.

[1] Had to duck in halfway past to let a car go the other way.
