Well, if we cut out the Sudoku and the financial book-keeping, me too!

I strongly suspect that, back in earlier days of aus.moto, say 1996,
most all of the regulars would have been in the same boat.

Even now, I'd expect a higher percentage than average, of aus.moto would
be found in the mildly lysdexic class.

OTOH, the cops amongst us just can't type. ;-)

Would you believe I had to look it up? Never know whether it is spelled
    Sudoku or Suduko.

I just copied the way you spelt it. :)

I refuse to even try it. It just seems like a waste of time to me.

Now, if there were free beers at the end.....

I think that's right. I know I have a lot of trouble with the number
reversal thing, also letters. As for names and faces... I'll remember
the other posters' tips though (I hope).
As a toddler, I'm told that I was one of those annoyingly brainy
little shits with the vocabulary of a 10 year old. Sixty odd years
later, aunts and older cousins still talk about "flutterbys"
"grasshepper peppers" and (OT for once) "botormikes". Things have
improved a bit, but I need to spell check everything - I can't really
pick mistakes up by myself - it always looks so.. well... right. Hence
the odd slip through of things like "hard or floppy dicks" and such
that are eagerly awaited by my colleagues(0).

    ...snip...

Well there's a couple of reasons you and Theo could have trouble
remembering people's names - given it started at an early age (I
assume also true of Theo) then we can probably eliminate
    Alzheimers :)

    Others
    - temporal lobe damage (alcohol, drugs, motorcycle accident, dropped
on your head as a baby :)
    - Mild autism

Inability to remember people is not actually a symptom of Dyslexia,
although given dyslexia and prosopagnosia are probably variants of the
same neurological causes (differing development of the neurological
structure of the left hemisphere). However 2 areas of the brain
situated very close to each other are indicated as possibly being at
the root of both dyslexia and prosopagnosia -inferior frontal and
    fusiform gyrus respectively
