my very late 2 cents worth....

as most people said Staintunes...the ADR version and remove the baffles
but saying that....BVR has MADAZ http://www.madaz.com.au/ on his ZZR1200 and
they sound the ducks guts....pitty he rides like a girl :p

I have a Remus on the viffer only cos I got it cheap at a fire sale, but if
was going to pay full price, it would have been the staintune because of the
price, Oz made, the ADR stamp and the removable baffles.

yes I do know if you remove the baffles its no longer ADR compliant

and Staintune will bring your pipe back to virtually new condition if the
slightest blemish (other than crash-related-blemishes) appear.

When I was going to sell the system off the R1100RT I emailed them asking
how to get a couple of black carbon-type-spots off. They send "send it
back" and they made it look like new, and I was able to sell it for near
    enough to new price.

Didn't know that Staintune mufflers had removable baffles? Thought that
to be ADR compliant, they had to be sealed. Not true?

is held in by one weld.
the non-adr is held in by one screw

drill out weld...replace with screw :)

thats what the staintune guy told at the bike expo

Each of my Staintune mufflers are held in by one weld too. Each one runs
    the periphery of the muffler....
