    Harbour Bridge and the tunnel

Will be going via General Holmes Drive and through the tunnels to Nth
    Sydney ( 18th Sept )

Now as a casual user how do I pay for these tolls. Do I pay in advance at
    RTA or what ?

Sydney is still opoerating in last century. You stop and give money to
    a man.

(I can't believe that you have planned/fretted about this trip so much
that that is your biggest worry. You need to hit the road real soon.)

have recieved quite a few good tips . Besides just like sex half the fun is
    in the foreplay ( planning ) :)

btw: I thought the tolls in Sydney had become all etags ?

bttw2: put my application for holdiays 17/9 - 30/10 in yesterday ( worked
an ot shift to pay for a battery)

ONe tunnel - the Cross City, not yet open - is etag only, and it is
probable the Western ORbital - not yet built - will be too.

The others all have cash booths.

If you go South to North all on toll roads it's about $10 I think, maybe
less, I haven't done the Eastern Distributor cos I have no need, but I
    think it's $4.50 .

that all depends on where you are going

the M5 toll is just before general holmes drive coming up the hume from
    Canberra
so that is a few bucks

but if you have just paid the toll then just continue along the M5 and
    through the
tunnel to Nth Syd , you will also pay the East distributor toll which is
    about $4

if you are getting off at General holmes for a reason you can then later
    continue down the
hume hwy or parra rd and head across the bridge for free or you can also
    join the hume hwy at
liverpool before general holmes drive and avoid the M5 toll as well

For now. How long before uncle Carl lets the robber barons which run the
    tollwats change that, though?
    M5 @ Liverpool = $3.30
    Eastern Distributor @ Darlinghurst = $4.00

That's South to North. North to south is $3.00 for the bridge/Harbour
tunnel, and $3.30 for the M5 @ Liverpool.

    Not clear.

I think all new ones built will be etag only, I've heard no rumours
    about changing the others.
