Hehe don't change your day just for me! My suspension is all mushy at the
moment have to get it looked at:/

Funny since I've had weds off I haven't actually used my day off to go for a
    ride!!

I'll be at the xmas day ride tho, it's the one time a year I get to see
    CrazyCam:)
And I think BigIain mentioned some noise testing thing going on at mt white
this sunday?? so I'll prolly scoot up there for that...

  4. No worries, Lil. Let us know when you get all firmed up and we can
reschedule! You really need to make good use of those Wednesdays off.
Compared to the weekend it's so relaxing and hassle free that it'll put
you off weekends for life. Ideal for testing suspension.

I'll be hibernating in my swag again on Sunday after doing some noise
testing of my own in the wee hours!

Well, depends which way we go. Last time I went to
Wollombi on a group ride, we only got as far as
Halfway before we had to go back and load a bunch
of f*cked bikes onto trailer at that bastard corner.

Burgers are excellent at Halfway, but otherwise it
    was an entirely forgettable day.

    </rant>

Uhm, I'm easy. Someplace I can take the new old yzf for
its first group ride without being sufficiently complicated
for it to look like I ride like a girl who hasn't figured
out how not to ride her new old yzf like a girl would
    be nice.

Yeah, anywhere that has good burgers. I'm there.

    What time at Berowra?

  11. Where's Halfway? Kulnura servo (?) or are you talking Putty Road?
Heheh, I ride a Harley. How fast can the pace be!
There's a few good places, if one's no good we can try the next!
    10:15 - 10:30am.

  12. I notice you've been signing your posts "Clem" instead of "Knob". You must
be getting soft in your old age Knob!

Yeah, that one. Halfway House, Putty Road. Just after that
bastard corner that eats bikes, northbound. Excellent burgers,
funny old bastard who does an old-style bingo call when he
brings your burger out and calls your number...

"NUMBER TWENNY FIIIIVE... IF YOU'RE STILL ALIIIIVE..."

(If you're lucky, his cocky will only shit on his shoulder
    and not in your burger)

Heh, I'll fit right in, Ma-am.

A man after my own gut.

Done deal. Note: I'm always late. Black/silver thunderace,
yellow helmet, can't ride for shit.

  17. It must be a two stroke 250 thing, Cam. If I remember correctly JL was on
the KR1 but Tim caught us pretty quickly on the BM after we inadvertently
took off from Mt White without him!

Y're probably right. Although I suspect something to do with six times
the cubic capacity might be significant too. ;-)

Could be, or you could be being modest :)
Wiseman's being rough as guts and with those moss patches isn't ideal
250smoker turf, but still, you were punting through there quite rapidly
that day, you certainly weren't holding me up !

    JL
(the KR1 has an extra 20 ponies on the RZ so it wasn't working quite as
hard as it sounds the Yam was)

You what? The KR1 has 65 horsepower? Shit, maybe I need one of them, then.

It was actually the uphill bits on the way to Wollombi.....

The Harleys just cruised up, at <mumble, mumble> kph, while I had to go
down a couple of gears to maintain the same pace.
