'lo all, and while i'm here i'll pay myself $3.50 and kick my own nutz to
    get things rolling.

    Make/model/year: Suzuki 250 Across 1990
    Engine Capacity: 249cc
    Odometer reading: ~ 46k kms
    Registration expires: 7 May 2007
    Location: Maroubra, Sydney
Item Condition: Excellent for a bike this age.
Reason for selling: Moving interestate, and need money for other purposes.
Price and price conditions: $3200 neg.
Extra Info: First of all I don't own the bike, it's Kelly's. Having said
that I ride it more than her and have done all the servicing on it. A few
    points on that ...

    - Cam chain replaced at 39k kms. Something that's rather important on these
    bikes in this kilometer range.
    - Valve clearances checked and adjusted at 39k kms (only one needed to be
    swapped out)
    - Carby needle holders replaced at 39k kms. These bring the mixture back to
stock and greatly improve the response and fuel economy (because the old
    ones were stuffed)
    - Rear caliper just rebuilt. Taken apart, pistons and bores lightly linished
with some 2000 wet n dry. Reassembled and re-bled.
    - Tyres are good front n back. BT45 front (50%) , Pirelli Dragon back (40%)
    - Front pads should last another few thousand or more, unsure of the wear
rate, but do not need to be replaced immediately
    - Rear pads only 1000km old.
    - Some small cosmetic scratches on the RHS from stationary drop. Nothing to
write home about. The rest of the bike is in really good nick.
    - Chain and sprockets were apparently done at around 35k kms, so they are
    still good.
    - Oil and filter changes every 5000km (40k, 45k)

It's been used for a mixture of commuting and freeway for the last year or
so. It gets a decent blat out to Holsworthy each week to clean out the
cobwebs. The bike really really surprised me on how well the thing actually
goes. For a inline 4 it's got pretty good pick up and revs nicely. Good
    clean motor.
