SYD: Big Boofy Blokes wanted

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Zebee Johnstone, Jan 19, 2004.

  1. Need a few tuggers.

Last time we did a tug-o-war was at Centennial Park Oval, the grass was wet,
riders were in roadbike boots and the Police sent in the SWAT squad, these
very substantial blokes with weighted belts (guns, handcuffs, truncheons,
etc) and boots with tread that would do a tractor proud. They towed us all
    over the paddock.

Can we do better this year?

    Where are your Big Buggers?
Can you get them a pair of grippy treads for their feet? (spikes, pitons,
    boat anchors, etc)

We need at least 20 bodies.

8th of March at 10:00am at
    Blacktown Olympic Park.

    Volunteers please.

Names and contact details of tuggers to Ray at the MCC of NSW office.
    9833 7794 or fax on 9833 7795

It's because I'm not a skinny bastard, and I went before him in the
Horizontal Bungee comp. (Competitor is attached to a long bungee cord
by a belt. Other end attached to truck. Beercan is placed on track.
Winner is one who moves can furthest alng the track.

I thought I had done a good job, grunting and groaning and straining to
move the can as far as I could without doing myself some sort of injury.

Hiro went next. Just bent down and picked up my can as he went past.

Then he just kept on walking.

At one rally a bloke gave a competitor some help, by stretching the cord
behind the competitor. The result when he let go was quite spectacular.
She went backwards at a great rate and ended up in a lather of sweat with
her jeans around her ankles. It was at the Wanbi Pub, from memory.

Maybe you'll be sorry when you read the reports in the newspaper today and
find out that most of your assumptions are wrong.

Pleased that someone posted about Jeffery when he was murdered in a Sydney

This is that poor bastard who was doing a Doctorate in science or something wasnt it?
    a waste, total waste.

Not saying that the cricketer dude wasn't, it was certainly a shame that that string of events
    happened too.
