Switzerland; seeing the funny side...

  1. Well, that's nice.

Apparently they want another 110 Swiss Francs.

Overtake where you shouldn't and it'll cost 710 CHF.

    Jesus.

Fucksocks. It'll be interesting to see how much they ask from Champ,
as presumably he told them a different number when asked about his
    income.

  4. Undertake on the Autobahn and they'll take your licence for a
    few months as well.

Do what we did in Germany and they'll take your licence too. It was only
their instinctive deference to a superior nation that meant we got away
with a fine and a flea in our collective ear.

Breathe a sigh of relief then. Coulda been a lot worse.
Yebbut, on the plus side, I've been done for minor speeding offences
(<20kph over the limit) loads of times, like perhaps 15 or 20 over the
last eight years, with a typical fine between 60 and 10 francs, and
    still have my licence.

And to be fair, what you got done for was something equivalent to
Dangerous Driving, rather than just a little bitty technicality.

For this kind of thing they have the section 59 notice.

Next time you came here they could stop you leaving?
    Well I wasn't there, so I couldn't possibly comment.

What happens if you simply ignore the request for further fines?

At a guess, next time I fly to Switzerland they either don't let me in
or don't let me out until I've paid the 110 plus a bit.

Just wish they'd given me a bloody URL and a paypal link really.
