  1. Ducati levers used to be exactly the same unit as fitted to the Mille,
and a third of the price. Maybe they fit the Tuono as well.

Between 1974, when I passed my test, and now (cars included so you don't miss the list
    altogether):

Honda PC50 (crashed & written off)
Spitfire 1500 (fell to bits and abandoned)
Land Rover Discovery (well, half of it, jointly with my gf)
    BMW R1200RT

    I am the ultimate anti-Nige.

AFAIK Ducati, Guzzi and Aprilia MC and levers are Brembo OEM.

Back in 2001 I broke a front brake lever on my Guzzi V11s: 130¤ from
Guzzi, 43¤ from Ducati (996 one) and 36¤ for a genuine Brembo from
Valpolini, Stucchi or Agostini at Mandello.

    Motomecca sells Brembo brakle parts:

    @mid.individual.net:

    You what?

Don't you have a legal expenses policy with your bike/house cover?

Yes, this is through the solicitors from Auntie Carole.

It's different for MIB claims, apparently.

Well, there's motivation for me. I keep meaning to get it cleaned so I
can get photos, but other (Italian) things keep taking priority.

Problem is, I can't imagine anyone wants to pay a decent wedge for my
current past-its-best, lardy-arsed, sports-tourer at the moment, given
the weather and the financial situation.

I suppose I should just stick it on Autotrader and/or eBay, and see what
    happens...

Bloody right. The single fairing side I had to buy for the Blackbird
was the thick end of £300,

ISTR Mark Reid's went the same way after a low speed skittle.

    Cheers,

    Paul.
