We don't actually want to shell out for ICBMs, and the cost of upkeep,
staff, maintenance, security, R&D, all that expensive shit. The Yanks
already have this shit in place, and they've got stuff pre-targetted on just
about anyone we'd want to hit. So we'll simply co-sponsor a few targets.
Instead of doing something really dumb like spending trillions on Trident,
and not being able to use it without the Yanks' say-so anyway, we have an
OLA and a minuscule deduction from the overseas aid they'l be handing us.

I begin to see a problem with the plan, FFS they've already managed to
bomb the wrong country on a couple of occasions and the wrong building
on others. There could be a terrible mistake and instead of the middle
east it might be Paris that gets nuked.

On second thoughts, good plan go with it.

 

It's like a DR plan, you have to have /something/ in place so you can say
you've got it, but you don't ever expect to have to use it. Besides, we
won't be there that long: a year max to plunder the place, then **** off to
luxuriously-funded obscurity with twelve-figure personal fortunes. We call
this "doing a Blaney".

I hear Switzerland is nice.
