when I put the hi-rise pipe on the viffer the ventura rack had to go because
it wouldn't fit, so I need the over the top L-Brackets, not the under tail
    ones

this is what I have got
    http://www.ventura-bike.com/english/fitments/display_picture.asp?fitment_id=717

and this is what I need
    http://www.ventura-bike.com/english/fitments/display_picture.asp?fitment_id=171

personally I think the under seat looks better, but it just isn't going to
    fit with the hi-rise pipe

I believe the rack part is the same, so the L-brackets is all that will have
    to be swapped
can someone confirm this? I was told other wise because of the hight, but
the hight of the joint between rack and bracket look the same in the photos

if you want to swap, let me know, My brackets are about 6 months old and are
    in perfect nick
