I am thinking about buying a 2001 SV650s with approx 11750 miles on
it. It has full service history, but I was wondering when the next is
due, and wether it was a major or a minor? Anybody know?

    Regards

IIRC it should have had minor one at 11500 and the next is a major at
15 but it's been a few years since I owned mine.

The next one will be at 15K miles and it includes checking the valve
    clearance.

    (Mr Wu) struggled to ejaculate:
Servicing frequency is not only limited to mileage, you know.

  5. As Pip says, make it a major service.

*Hint* - think neglected brakes, etc.

Especially the rear brake, it seems to wear drastically even if you
    don't use it.

No idea. Mine were shot around 16K. With 35K on it now the front are
    almost ready for new pads.

Do you never use the brakes?

I've never had more than 15K out of front pads on a modern bike, and
about 25 from rears. Having said that, the pads in my Honda have been in
there for about 50K miles at least and are showing no signs of wear, but
they also show no signs of stopping the bike when asked to.

No, I do use the brakes. It's the stock pads too so I don't know what
    gives.
    LOL.

No, he fucking doesn't, as I found out a couple of times while
following him on a Harley. He's one of the smoothest riders I've seen,
only seems to brake to come to a complete stop.

Do you count the miles on the recovery truck?
