I've managed to get a cheap Haynes, dated '99-'02.

Does anyone know if the '03 SV650S has any major differences from its
    predecessors except for cosmetics?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this means much but Bridgestone give the option of selecting
either SV650S (02) or SV650S (03) on their tyre selector applet.

Do the two have different tyre sizes?

    Thanks in advance.

I think one of them, the more recent model iirc, must be leaned
over very slightly off vertical, when ridden by a dwarf whom
    wants to GHKD.
    No worries.

Yes, the newer shape ones got several mechanical changes.. forks, frame,
and I think cooling system... Fuel injection vs carbs.

    go to

    www.sv650.org

and read everything on it, then you won't need to ask so many stupid
    questions.

And as far as I know, that's about it - aside from the aforementioned
    cosmetic changes.

One could argue that the new frame is more than a cosmetic change,
being that it is now made using:

"...single precision die casting using a new high-vacuum-mould process
that eliminates bubbles, air pockets, and porosity in large castings."

rather than the more conventional frame on the 99-02 models.

It's a shame it looks so shit, really.

One could also argue that the '03 SV is a completely different bike than
the previous years. There are few (if any) interchangable parts).

You change the frame as part of servicing?

    Now that's thorough.
