We'll, we've gone and bought the bike, it's not as bad as i was making out, front brake works fine, it just felt squishy when it was standing still.. pulling hte lever that far back when moving would lock the wheel up 3 times over, it's had a new disc, pads, brake hose etc up front, tyres are very good.. looks like a recent new un on the back, rims are very good.. looks like they've been given a good clanin and polish, engine seems fine, havent been for a proper ride.. not got a valid cbt or owt yet, all the gears work etc (suprised to find a six speede box on such an old bike) Rear suspension seems fine, no play i can detect, but it does squeek like hell, seems to be the top bushes, i'll whip them out and give em an oiling, I've just spent the last few hours stripping her down, few nuts and bolts missing, she's had a re-bore recently by the looks of things (barrel has been off at least, and took the expansion chamber off and looked up the port and the piston looks new.. hardly any carbon build up.. deffo not 23k miles worth for sure. Bad points.. a few broken brackets for things like the rad.. must get a new bottle of gas for the welder and they'll be sorted, silencer dosent seem to be the correct one, deffo dosent fit well, wobbles about etc, again i'll make it fit, and bung in a deflector to stop it spraying oil all over the rear of the number plate, But the wiring is an absolute mess, someones been a twist and wrap in tape person when they connected wires up, the feed to the coil was connected like this but with out the tape bit.. and it was on one strand of wire.. the indicators have been removed, they didnt work so they ripped the lot out, i have the actual indicators, but they've also taken the actual switch out of the switch block.. maybe i'll see if i can get a stitch block off another bike to fit.. sommat like a kmx that has the handle bar mounted choke, and make that work with this bike, but there's half a dozen wires behind the headlight, as well as at the flasher unit that i can't figure out where they go.. things like the low 2 stroke oil sender has broken wires.. right on the sender, sooo.. anyone got a manual for this bike?? able to copy the wiring diagrams and e-mail them to me?? pretty please.. i'll stop being such an anoying cnut if you do :) my email.. gary AT kampenwagen DOT co DOT uk we also need parts for the air box.. this is the monoshock bike.. the actual box is there, just not the part that takes the air to the carb.. anyone got that bit.. oh and also the rear luggage rack thing that the indicators bolt onto??
