Suzuki SV1000

    Anyone any comments on this bike, whether there are known faults/gremlins?
    How would you compare it with the Honda VTR1000 (NOT the SP1/2)?

    I know someone that had to have an 03 bike replaced because the engine was
    shot after 600 miles

    It's a bit dull
    As is the Honda.

    Yeah that was a bit vague wasn't it... IFAIK a knocking was heard from the
    bottom end, turned out to be a knackered crank, he had a serious whinge to
    Suzuki UK and got the 03 bike replace with a new 04 bike... seems happy now
    but is still running in.
