Brought this bike a few weeks ago was running like a bag of crap.thinking it was the fuel drained and replaced with fresh but won't start at all. Having the carbs striped and cleaned soon it has new plugs but when turning the bike over I'm not getting any spark from any of the plugs checked all wireing i wouldn't think that both coils would pack up at the same time so I suspect it could be the cdi unit thats at fault any ideas would be great.

It's frustrating when a bike isn't running smoothly. It's possible that the CDI unit could be the culprit, especially if you've checked the wiring and replaced the plugs. Getting it checked by a professional could help pinpoint the issue. Hang in there.

Thanks for your reply brought a second hand CDI unit treated it to new coils and plugs had the carbs cleaned I'm getting spark from all four plugs but not bright blue that people suggest putting the carbs back on tomorrow hopefully at least get it going then take to a garage to get them to get it running proper.
