I'm in the halfway house. I think the Kat's stunning and I want
    one.

............But I hate the front end - the guard and front wheel,
specifically. The rest of the bike is razor sharp, that guard never
looked right and the wheel's too big. So want one with UD forks,
monoshock rear end and better wheels and brakes.

Well, in fairness, a few extra horses wouldn't go amiss, but the bike
    is very torquey.
Heh, I _am_ _not_ _biting_ :-D

Ah, at last, someone else who recognises the true hideousness of the
things. You don't also happen to think that the recent(ish) MV Agustas
are terribly overrated examples of terminal featurelessness as well,
    do you?

So what's the difference between torque and power?

  11. I didn't like them either. I thought they looked like they were about
    to nosedive into the ground..
    I suspect I'm not either.

Katana. Looks nice, looks like she goes a bit.
Get her home and undressed and she turns into her fat old mother.

Err no, I can't join you in that camp. They (the MVs) are among very
few visual stylings that I feel are actually worthwhile. Right up
    there with the 916/996 IMO.

  16. Torque is cheap and power corrupts.

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
