Hi. GN250 1994. New oil gets black after driving appx 30-45min. After some time the oil becomes thin (dilutet) and smell
of gasoline - not so much though. Suspected the oil rings to be worn out and removed cylinder to check.
Piston and rings look absolute pristine. No blow-by or oil sludge build up. Compression measured earlier and ok.
I noticed that the two oil rings and spacer dont move fully freely and stick a bit together. Also there is no spring action
compared to the compression rings. The diameter of the oil rings is just a little bigger than the cylinder bore.
Where do I go from here? Terje
