Mate of a mate has had his beloved Busa stolen from his garage. They went
through the garage alarm system, two heavy duty chains bolted through
concrete set secure points, the steering lock and presumably managed to
disable the alarms as no one heard a thing...

    Anyway, stolen from Leamington Spa

    Reg no: LV52 JTO
    Colour: Silver

    Distinguishing bits fitted:

    Double Bubble screen (Make: Fabbri?)
R and G Frame protectors and Swing Arm protector
    Throttle Meister Cruise control.

So if anyone sees any bits come up on eBay matching those descriptions being
    sold
from that area, or sees it being hooned about, can you drop me a mail?

Its a long shot but who knows? Stranger things have happened..

Whew bad luck. If people have the know how and resolve to get through
that much security there really isn't much one could practically do to
    thwart them.

Too true. What I was wondering was: what speed did he set the cruise
    control to?

Yep, someone really wanted that bike, or they knew where it was and
    stole it to order.

Not many people know I have a bike on my street, the amount of effin
    times it comes out !

We need more runs out (with more notice). I hate riding around on my
    own like billy no-mates ... ;)

He! Hadnt thought of that... would have been great if it was set to "Warp
    factor 9+brick wall interface"

The bike would be trashed, but oh, the satisfaction of going and pissing on
the smeared remains of the theiving scrotes!

Reckon the bike was indeed stolen to order.. He is indeed Mr Gutted of
    Guttedsville.

Are you still in (or vicinity of) Farnborough?

Yep. I think Ash (Ballistic) is also in our vicinity.

I assume he still has all his keys - they couldn't have been lifted and
copied at any stage? A mates father lost rather a nice 7 series BMW - the
keys were knicked out of his house.

Heh, that reminds me, for reasons I won't go into on here, I called one
of our managers a **** in his absence and got told to curb my fucking
tongue[1]. Don't these people know it's a term of endearment?

[1] So I imagined my tongue doing a kneedown ;)

A nice 7 series? What, was it a limited edition or something, perhaps based
on the design of a much nicer car overall?
Were the thieves homeless and looking for a place to live or something?
