    Hi all
I've just got a Suzuki 125 intruder 2000 model 4000 miles on the clock
been laid up in the garage for the past 2 years
runs like a clock, the only thing is, i'm having to bump start the
bike, i've read somewere that it as some kind of anti start system, ie
if it's in gear, kick stand down etc just wondering what to check to
    fix the problem,

Wheels within wheels, it's a mind game of dizzying complexity.

If a haughty fellow was inclined to decide what was an appropriate
obligation to be laid at the feet of a humble biker supplicant toward
the HBS's unfortunately neglected steed, said haughty fellow might go
so far as to cry foul over the blackhearted deed of omission that the
    benighted fellow had unknowingly committed.

    Isn't whiskey wonderful

On my VS, you need to have the clutch pulled in whilst you're cranking
the start button. No idea if yours is the same, or if that would even
cause this, but you might want to try it.

Fucking right it is. I have no idea what you're on about, which is par
    for the course for me.

If it`s got a starter interlock system it`s got two breakers/switches one
located under the clutch lever the other at the top of the sidestand.
Both have two wires going to them, these break the starter circuit when the
lever is out or the sidestand is down.
To test them unplug them from their positions and using a piece of wire
bridge the gap ie. make the circuit complete.
If this works the switches are faulty, replace them or simply cut the two
wires and join them together making the circuit.
