Well hello .I am kinda new to the groups thingy ...so please forgive
any mistakes I make ( for at-least a few weeks)
I am the happy owner of a 1981 Suziki Gs450l It was given to me by a
buddy who did not want it any more so now it begins ..I took it to my
father in laws house and scrubbed on it for about 5 hours this
afternoon .I found a bike under all that rust and dirt !The Electrical
system is shot .But I hope to have it up and running in a few months
then the proccess of trying to make it pretty begins. If any one has
any ideas on how and what to do please drop me a line .My father in
law is an excellent bike mechanic .But i can always use that extra
    help i guess.

Thanks for the time to bend your ears .

Locate Billy Crockett in Bryan. He has a salvage yard for bikes. He is
located off of Hwy 21 just West of Texas Avenue. It's on a street just W. of
the railroad overpass, and to the right. He usually has a good selection.
    Good luck.
