Survey/Poll Bikes by state

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by JL, May 9, 2006.

  1. Well, the week before last, I had a bike in both the "running" and "not
    running" state...

big (who suspects he might not be alone...)

  3. Well, it was initially suspected to be a bearing collapse...

Melbourne (Melbourne is a State, as anyone from Gippsland will tell you)
Metro (well, there's footpaths to park on ...)
    1993 BMW R100GS
1986 Honda XLV750R (well, it's not running, but I've got four engines,
which has to count for something)
If you need a 'category', you can put them both under 'touring rat',
    or something like that.

You really should set up another one of those web survey thingummies,
you know. But I suspect you'll find that there isn't a big enough
population to say anything statistically significant.

-----sharks ("Yes Brian, we're all statistical outliers!")

It'd take me half an hour to remember all my previous bikes Tim, and
even then I'd probably miss some! [1]

[1] This isn't all senililty, part of it's that I've normally owned
multiple bikes at a time and I change them semi reguarly so the total is
    highish...

I can manage running, running but unridable and not... [1]

    G-S

[1] Yes I know... but as long as one of them is ridable ;-)

    heh.

Answer is "buy 70s bikes in the late 80s when they are just old enough
    to be cheap."

all comments about "pay peanuts and buy monkeys" will be ignored.

Sheese, don't anyone ask Azi then for a count of bikes owned... before
he finished listing them.. he would have purchased another!
